After a BA in literature and development and an MA in postcolonial literature, I trained in qualitative market research and gained a professional diploma in marketing. I continue to take courses in web, design, business and IT, reading widely to keep up with fast-moving trends and platforms.

My career has spanned editing, branding, copywriting, event management, website creation, social media and digital marketing and communications.

I love the variety of work in this area and the chance to learn about clients’ industries. Recently I’ve been able to create promotional material for foundations and small businesses, train university staff in social media, plan websites, write about fintech, create training videos, work on academic projects and engage in event photography.
